Yet another Bridal Boutique Visit
Today, Mom and I went to "the oldest bridal salon in Michigan" to continue the search for my perfect bridal gown.

First of all, to the many brides-to-be who may or may not be reading this blog:

When you try on wedding dresses, make sure your underwear is not on inside-out.

It's not anything terrible. The world won't end if you happen to have your underwear inside-out when you try on dresses. However, you'll feel less trashy if you are wearing your panties correctly.

So anyway, we went to this bridal salon, and of course, there were a ton of dresses there. Not too many that I couldn't wade my way through them though. I managed to pick out four dresses that I thought were okay.

I looked at them in the light and on my body, and I still wasn't pleased. After searching here and there and around the square, I think I'll go back to my roots and back to one of the first dresses I tried on at the bridal boutique in my home town. Mom and I are going to go there on Monday to have one last look.

In the meantime, enjoy the dresses that didn't quite make the cut :D

I am struggling to pick the appropriate inappropriate comment here.

Choice 1:
Request a picture of the inside-out underwear to demonstrate if they are as trashy as claimed.

Choice 2:
Point out the definite pattern of white wedding dresses, and then question the appropriateness of such a choice.

Choice 3:
Mention how good it was that you didn't pick either of the dresses that "made you look fat" as though there were dress selections that could accomplish such a feat.

In the end, obviously, I couldn't choose just one.

Here are my responses to said comment choices:

Response 1: Andy sucks ass.

Response 2: Andy sucks ass and likes it.

Response 3: Any sucks ass and likes it, and his favorite movie is Batman & Robin.

Blah.

I absolutely love the dress you chose, but I have to say that the last one with that embroided bodice is so pretty and looks gorgeous on you, and it fits you so nicely. Was it a hard choice?

That last one with the stripy bodice? It wasn't too hard of a choice. I didn't like the boning in the corset, and it wasn't sparkly enough. It also didn't really have a train; it kinda looked like the hem in the back was just cut longer than the front. The one above that had tons of embroidery and was super sparkley, but it wasn't poofy enough :) The one at the top was sparkley, but again, no train :) The one that I ended up picking has a long train. It'll probably be a hindrance, but it's one of the things I liked about it.

I suck at this sort of thing, because I thought they all looked fine...lol

That's probably why I'm not getting married to anyone anytime soon. I suck at helping women pick out what they want to wear. As long as it matches and it covers all the private parts, I'll usually approve it LOL
